Dr Yasmine Nassif is a chartered psychologist and member of the British Psychology Society. In addition, she is a fully accredited CBT therapist from the British Association for Behavioural and Cognitive Therapy (BABCP) and a licensed metacognitive therapist from the metacognitive therapy institute (MCT-I).
She works on a full time basis for HPFT (Hertfordshire Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust) and has a split clinical position in both primary care and secondary care settings, and runs her private practice.
Her clinical experience has been extensive both in the United Kingdom and in Lebanon. Dr Nassif specialised in adult treatment of depression, anxiety disorders, obsessive compulsive disorder, generalised anxiety, social phobia, low self-esteem, claustrophobia, agoraphobia, borderline personality disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). She has a particular interest in treating individuals who have been exposed to traumatic environments, from everyday situations to war zones. More recently, she is also delivering group treatment in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) as well as in Dialectical and Behavioural Therapy (DBT) Skills.
