Nathalie Khoueiry Zgheib, MD

Dr. Zgheib is currently Associate Professor at the Department of Pharmacology and Toxicology, American University of Beirut Faculty of Medicine (AUBFM). She is a Family Physician, graduate of the AUB. She then trained in pharmacogenetics (PGx), drug metabolism, and inter-individual variability at the Center for Clinical Pharmacology at the University of Pittsburgh.

Dr. Zgheib’s area of interest is in the pharmacogenetics, pharmacoepigenetics and toxicoepigenetics of non-communicable diseases. She is also interested in the social, ethical, economic, and cultural factors that may influence the implementation of PGx in Low and Middle Income Countries.
