Ghada Najjar Assaf PhD, BSN, MS

Ghada Najjar Assaf is a visiting clinical assistant professor of Mental Health Nursing at Hariri School of Nursing, AUB. She joined the university in September 2017. She earned her BSN degree in 1989 from AUB; Master’s in Mental Health Nursing (2001) and PhD in Mental Health Nursing (2011) from Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology University (RMIT) Australia.

The focus of Dr. Assaf’s research is coping patterns and women’s Mental Health. She prepared and implemented several Mental Health programs related to students and teachers in the UAE. Currently, her passion is directed to Community Mental Health care among children and adolescence.
