Diler Acar, MD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. She is a board certified neurologist and behavioral neurologist and neuropsychiatrist and director of Brigham and Women’s Faulkner Hospital Behavioral Neurology Service. Dr. Acar received her medical degree from Istanbul University Medical School. She completed her residency in Neurology at Tufts University and finished two year fellowship in Behavioral Neurology and Neuropsychiatry at Brigham and Women’s Hospital. Her expertise is in neurodegenerative diseases, with a large clinical practice in a teaching hospital. She is particularly interested in gender differences in Alzheimer’s disease , has given talks and in the process of publishing in that matter.
