Christine Bartulec


Dr. Bartulec was born in Germany, 1968. She studied medicine at the Friedrich-Alexander University, Erlangen-Nürnberg, Germany, 1988 – 1995. She then sis her residency in Anaesthesia in OBGYN and Surgery. Dr. Bartulec continued her specialisation in Anaesthesiology in Germany in 2007.

She was certified in Intensive care medicine in 2010 and Emergency medicine in 2005. Dr. Bartulec is currently worked for the International Federation of the Red Cross in 2005 (Sri Lanka) and 2010 (Haiti) and has been working for the International Committee of the Red Cross since 2011.

She has had several deployments to Afghanistan, Pakistan, Nigeria, South-Sudan, Iraq and Gaza. Within ICRC she was an Anaesthetist, Senior medical officer, Emergency room doctor and Emergency room trauma course trainer

Since December 2017, Dr. Bartulec is senior medical officer in Rafik Hariri University Hospital, an Instructor for Emergency Room Trauma Course (ICRC) and Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) and provider in Paediatric Advanced Life Support, Newborn Life support, Advanced Trauma Life support and Pre-hospital Trauma Life Support

Interim working positions in Germany as Emergency doctor in emergency ambulances, flight doctor for an international flight ambulance and Course instructor for paramedics (German Red Cross)
